The Battleground Texas’ Blue Star candidates have been campaigning for months, working to grow a local volunteer base and earn the support of voters, groups and organizations in some of the most competitive State House district races in Texas. They have received endorsements from multiple organizations, unions, and other state and local community groups — including former President Barack Obama. Battleground Texas has worked with these five  women leaders to share best practices on voter registration, volunteer recruitment, and online and offline organizing, with a particular focus on turning out young people and minority voters across these diverse House Districts.
